Conner Weigman steals the show by setting a school bowl record in the 38-35 win over LSU in the Kinder's Texas Bowl.
Sophomore Michael Van Buren will start at quarterback for LSU against Houston in the Texas Bowl. He has started the last three games for LSU, throwing for 743 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions while leading the Tigers to a 2-1 record.
Berry still finished as the Tigers' leading rusher, taking three carries for 45 yards. His first touch of the game went for 36 yards. LSU's other three running backs ran for a combined eight yards. Quarterback Michael Van Buren followed Berry with 24 yards on 11 carries.
The final seconds of the Texas Bowl formally ended LSU's frustrating 2025 season but also marked the official start of the Lane Kiffin era.
