The NFL playoff picture continues to get sorted out in Week 14 with a trio of key divisional matchups. The Jaguars now have the edge in the AFC South after a comfortable win over the Colts. Indianapolis QB Daniel Jones injured his Achilles during the game and was ruled out for the rest of the game.
Josh Allen and the Bills held off the Bengals. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens lost to the Steelers. Here are the winners and losers from Week 14.
Commanders QB Jayden Daniels is not having the greatest outing in his return from injury. Daniels is under 50% for completions and had an interception in the first half while Washington was shut out. Early in the third quarter, Daniels still has just 78 passing yards. Minnesota leads 14-0.
The race for the No. 1 seed is hot. The Seahawks beat the Panthers on Sunday. With the 49ers' win over the Bears on Sunday night, the winner of Seahawks-49ers in Week 18 will be the No. 1 seed in the NFC and win the West.
Linebacker Cedric Gray and edge Jihad Ward were both fined for specific fourth-quarter plays during the contest, with Gray landing two separate fines for his multiple facemask penalties. Tennessee has struggled with penalties all season, and these three penalties almost allowed the Browns to come all the way back and steal a victory.
Geno Smith threw a bad pass that was intercepted by linebacker Bobby Okereke and returned for 47 yards. That set up a touchdown run by Devin Singletary and a 7-0 lead. Jaxson Dart scored on a touchdown run later in the half to give the Giants a 14-3 lead. By halftime, a 2-13 Giants team was leading 17-3 on the road. The Raiders are simply that bad.
