Is there any free way to manage a Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 system from Server 2003?

Someone I know is considering setting up Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 on a new server they are adding to their network. It will run Windows Server 2008 R2, either on the bare metal or as a guest in Hyper-V.
