The dsl modem is supposed to be plugged in using rj11 connectors, I'd like to have my modem as far as 60meters away from the the phone plug that delivers the signal. Is it ok, what cable should I use?

I tried to get a CAT5 run from the phone line filter to my DSL modem. The best I could get is a few seconds of the modem trying to get a DSL connection before it gave up. As soon as I tried a standard ...
