TransLink will retire the entire fleet of Mark II SkyTrain cars in the 2030s, with an order for more Mark V trains set to be made in 2026.

NORTHBROOK, Ill. (WLS) -- Trains on Metra's Milwaukee-District North Line are delayed after an unoccupied vehicle was struck by a freight train near Lake Cook Road in Northbrook, Metra officials said.
