MetaMask announces Bitcoin (BTC) is now being supported on the platform. According to the update, this means users may trade / manage BTC.

MetaMask Bitcoin support now lets users buy, swap, and transfer BTC directly within the wallet using multiple payment methods.

Quantum computing is not currently an existential threat to Bitcoin, but as capital becomes more institutional and long-term, even distant risks require clearer answers.
