Barack Obama is clearing the air after causing an internet frenzy with some throwaway comments about the existence of aliens.

Former President Obama said he did not see evidence that aliens “have made contact with us,” after sending social media abuzz by saying aliens were real on a podcast over the weekend.

“And they’re not being kept in Area 51. There’s no underground facility unless there’s this enormous conspiracy, and they hid it from the president of the United States.”
