If your hoop house PVC won’t slide on, do THIS 👇 This is the setup we use to make hoop house building way easier: We use ½-inch PVC pipe with a ¾-inch T connector. The larger T slides right over the PVC without fighting it. The side opening of the T reduces down to ½-inch, which makes it easy to attach the horizontal bracing. I posted earlier this week showing our DIY PVC hoop house, and one of the main questions I got was about how they handled strong winds. 🌬️ I’ve never had problems with mine! The main thing I do is securing the plastic down: ✔️ I screw a wood strip along the bottom. ✔️ Clips also work great if you don’t use wood.
