Today I was 7 km back in the bush setting an old 220 double jaw trap with a safety similar to the one in this video. Mid setting the trap both safeties released and I caught both hands in the 220 Conibear. Thankfully, my 13 year-old daughter who has her trapping course knew how to use the trap set tool and get me out. Needless to say I took that trap down and will never use a trap that has those safeties again. They are far too dangerous. If you have traps like this, I highly recommend getting r
