A funnel cloud has been observed near Beenleigh, QLD this evening as a line of storms moves through. This funnel unlikely touched down as a tornado, it was just a feature of the leading of the storm as it moved through and interacted with increased wind shear. WOW A couple of very close lightning strikes this afternoon in the Wide Bay region. HSC follower Jennifer got the first one in Maryborough QLD and HSC follower Ronny got the second one in Howard QLD. The second one is VERY loud so a volume warning is required. | Higgins Storm Chasing
