Did you know that whenever we look at new locations, we recce them (reconnaissance) and assess risks- surfaces, features, access points, facilities (like toilets, water, good coffee shops!)? We also need to apply for permits and liaise with local clubs and groups that use the space. Our coaches need to be familiar with the trails, trail names, and the general area.
