TURTLE MEETS (FRESHWATER) TURTLE 🐢😄 Our little sea turtle wasn’t too happy meeting her freshwater equivalent in Florida! Common freshwater turtles in this part of the States include several species of cooters (like the Florida Red-Bellied Cooter and Peninsula Cooter), sliders (like the Yellow-Bellied Slider), and snapping turtles (like the Common Snapping Turtle and the more distinct Alligator Snapping Turtle). Other common species are the Florida Chicken Turtle, Florida Softshell Turtle, and
