Is this a worthy spiritual successor to the OG 454SS? It’s a 5.3 that’s been resleeved for all the displacement (454C.I.) with our Frankenstein M712 Cylinder heads tossed on top to let this thing BREATH. Toss that in an original V6 short wide and you have quite the good looking truck. This great pairing allowed this engine to make 830 horsepower and just over 700 ft/lbs of torque(crank) NATURALLY ASPIRATED! If that’s not impressive I don’t know what is.
