【為野鴨打造五星級酒店🦆⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐】 (eng version follows) 近年后海灣嘅野鴨數量減少，為咗讓來港過冬嘅野鴨喺遷徙旅途上，有合適嘅生境可以安心休息，本會喺Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, Hong Kong (OPCFHK) | 香港海洋公園保育基金 資助下，展開「后海灣野鴨生境營造及持續計劃 2025–2027」。 我哋延續過往4年由鄉郊保育資助計劃及鄉郊保育辦公室資助嘅項目，繼續喺后海灣嘅兩個閒置魚塘推行一系列生境管理工作，營造適合野鴨停悽的「#鴨仔塘」🦆 經過一個雨水豐沛嘅夏季，塘內嘅蘆葦生長驚人，令適合野鴨嘅空間減少。所以塘內嘅植物必須定期進行管理，營造吸引野鴨嘅生境。 8月是本地繁殖季尾聲，而野鴨大約10月遷徙到港，趁塘內雀鳥較少同遷徙野鴨未到港嘅短短兩個月，漁民和同事馬不停蹄地展開植物管理，喺野鴨嚟到前準備一個「五星級酒店」，務求野鴨「好食好住」。 為減低對雀鳥嘅影響，我哋冇採用大型機械除草，取而代之係用手提打草機同「人手拔草」。經過漁民和同事嘅共同努力，成功趕得切清除塘內多餘植被，提供更多空間比野鴨使用！😆
